Thomas Frankl is Managing Director of Geneva-based Airport Development Partners SA (ADP), the airport investment and operations company of Brixton Capital. He also assists governments around the world in improving the operational efficiency of their airports, and to privatize their airports through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP’s). In 2015, the United Nations asked Thomas to lead a global team working to establish binding standards for the definition and implementation of airport PPP projects, which will be ratified by the UN member states in earl 2016. This assignment enhances ADP’s global credibility, provides it access to the most senior government officials in the transport sector and gives it early visibility on attractive upcoming airport deals.
Born in Luxemburg, Thomas earned a Ph.D. (m.c.l.) in Economics from Munich University. He has previously worked in senior roles for Fortune 500 companies such as Texas Instruments or Intel and the United Nations in Geneva. He teaches graduate courses in strategic management, entrepreneurship, leadership and corporate governance at the International University in Geneva. Thomas speaks fluent English, French and German.
